Wesley Research Institute celebrated the launch of its new brand with two open day events held at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital on May 3rd, and at The Wesley Hospital on May 5th. The events aimed to showcase the Institute's research grant round, clinical trials, biobank facility, and more.
The Wesley Hospital Open Day was a great success, with a fantastic turnout of visitors. The event, which ran from 7-11 am, was held on Level 8, East Wing of The Wesley Hospital. Visitors enjoyed complimentary coffee, cookies and cupcakes while chatting with our staff and learning more about the work we do here on Level 8.
"We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces as well as new visitors to our Open Day event," said Andrew Barron, CEO of Wesley Research Institute. "It was a fantastic opportunity to share our latest research, clinical trials, and grant round programs with the community."
Overall, the open day events had a tremendous outcome, and Wesley Research Institute looks forward to continuing to engage with the community and sharing more about our work going forth.

Wesley Research Institute will be holding a road show for the 2023 Grant Rounds in July – spanning across the four hospitals; The Wesley Hospital, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Buderim Private and St Stephens at Hervey Bay.
