During our Open Day on Monday, November 25th we celebrated 30 years of delivering real health impact!
The event highlighted the institute’s achievements and aimed to showcase our research programs, clinical trials, research grant rounds, and biobank facility. Held from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Level 8, East Wing of The Wesley Hospital, the Open Day saw an excellent turnout of visitors. Attendees enjoyed complimentary barista coffee, cookies, and cake while engaging with staff and learning more about our innovative medical and healthcare research.
“We were excited to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors to our Open Day event,” said Andrew Barron, CEO of Wesley Research Institute. “It was a fantastic chance to showcase our latest research, clinical trials, and grant round programs to the community, as well as celebrating 30 years of delivering real health impact.”
As the official research partner of UnitingCare, Wesley Research Institute was pleased to see clinicians, nurses, administrators and staff from The Wesley Hospital and other UnitingCare Queensland community services attend the open day.
Overall, the open day event had a tremendous outcome, and Wesley Research Institute looks forward to continuing to engage with the community and sharing more about our work going forth.
